Don't think too much....

Your mirror is one of the most potentially powerful and destructive that you use. You may look in the mirror many times each day, so it's important to understand the damage you can do to yourself, psychologically and spiritually, everytime you look at your reflection and criticize something. So, instead of being slave to the mirror, make your mirror work for you.

In the morning, dont stand in front of it bemoaning what you dont have and what you dont like. Apart from the fact that you are showing yourself disrespect, thoughts and words are very powerful and can manifest the very thing you focusing on.

Instead, concentrate on the feeling approval for yourself in every respect. Find all of your good points and practice smiling and being happy about them. Will yourself to overlook a pimple or blemish and tell yourself that you are beautiful person (besides, nandyan na yan kaya accept mo na lang total may photoshop naman, hehehehe!)

Love it all!

Start the day positively this way. Not only will you feel better , you will feel motivated to get out there and make it happen. Because you deserve it!

My dear friend once said, " Dont judge the book by each other"(Ay, tama ba yun?bwahahahaha. Laughter is the best medicine anyway...)

My weekend was different than the usual weekends that I had when our dear friend left us for his restful indefinite comeback vacation. Jon arrived at King Abdulaziz International Airport on the 15th 2 pm (Saudi Time). I was astonished and excited to see him upclose.

On the morning of 15th October, Mickey called me up and invited me over for lunch date in his flat. Jon cooked something very special acquired from his native Laguna (talong na may gata) and delectable pork adobo. It was a laughing conversation the afternoon of that day. But, at night we spent it together at Aziziah beach.

What a joyous day Jon. We miss you dearly!

Birthday Presentation (HOME)

The above video presentation was presented to me by my brother (Fr. Glen Deuna, SVD) when I had my vacation last January 2006 along with some other surprises. I kept it with some other souvenirs from bohol.

The video is the story of my life since I was a child to teenage years and finally to adolescent. It brings complete joy to me seeing my dad and my mom alive even in the photos. The people in the video are the object of my affection. I grew up with them full of love. I am thankful to God that He created the gift of "vocation" because our source of joy & love is through prayers. We are all taking different paths, but through our faith and prayers we are all connected.

Thank you for keeping the family spirit alive.

I love you manoy Glen!

My Jesus,

I have waited a long time for this moment. I have needed time to speak with you alone & especially to listen to you. The truth, to be honest, is that you do not stop sending me messages.
The problem is that I do not always want to receive them. At times I drown them out with music, friends, noise…..Nonetheless, I cannot deny it. I feel a great emptiness, even though it doesn’t show with others. Yet then, when your calm invitation “follow me” comes, my heart overflows with light & peace. As soon as I hear this invitation in the depth of my conscience, my heart trembles at the thought that you have chosen me.
I know I will find true happiness at your side, I know you will quench my thirst for eternity, and that with you I will leave a permanent mark as I pass through this world, doing good in your name. But I am afraid. It frightens me to set out on an adventure where I risk everything, even though I know I can also gain everything.
Jesus, grant me the generosity to throw myself after you without hesitation, to cut the mooring that bind me to the shore and keep me from pulling out into the sea of the world with you as the captain of my ship. Give me courage, give me strength. I know I will not have vision, apparitions, or anything of the kind. Yet your voice will not cease to call within my soul with a clarity that leaves no room for doubts, “follow me “ will be your invitation.
I will follow you, Jesus. I will follow you wherever you go, and wherever you take me. I will go with you, carrying my cross and rising you. Only three things I ask of you: grant me FAITH, grant me GENEROSITY, grant me COURAGE; in a word, grant me LOVE.

P.S

Walk with me always for I am not alone.

I love you dearly,

King
